Northern Ireland set for a scorching few days with a high of 25C

Northern Ireland is set for a scorching few days ahead with a high of 25C.

According to the weather forecast, Wednesday will be a dry and bright day with sunshine and a high of 22C.

It will become cloudy from the west in the afternoon with damp, misty conditions developing in the evening.

Later on in the evening, the Met Office said: "It will be cloudy and misty with the odd patch of drizzle. A very mild, muggy night with a light northwesterly wind. Minimum temperature 14C."

Great temperatures are set to continue, with Thursday looking like the warmest day of the week so far, brightening up during the morning after a cloudy and misty start.

The forecaster says it will be "a dry day with plenty of warm sunshine in the afternoon" with a maximum temperature of 25C.

And for the weekend, the Met Office say it will be mostly dry, settled weather continuing on Friday and over the weekend with plenty of sunshine.

Some patches of mist and low cloud are expected, especially in coastal areas.
