Northern Ireland midfielder's classy gesture to young Cliftonville player

Young Cliftonville footballer Lily Bell had a night to remember at Seaview on Monday.

The Reds' Under-11 starlet watched Northern Ireland beat North Macedonia 9-0 in their latest World Cup qualifier.

Kenny Shiels' side impressed once again, with their emphatic win coming just days after hammering the same opponents 11-0 in Skopje.

Lily was an avid spectator at the Shore Road venue, and no doubt she had a close eye on Cliftonville senior player Louise McDaniel who was introduced as a substitute in the 9-0 victory.

After the game, McDaniel - who recently made history by becoming the first female to score an international goal at the new Windsor Park - made a special presentation to Lily, who was proudly wearing her Cliftonville beanie hat in the crowd.

She handed the youngster her Northern Ireland jersey from the World Cup qualifier.

And by the look of Lily's beaming smile, she was definitely on cloud nine after receiving the special memento.
