Goalkeeper Conor Mitchell has been released by Premier League side Burnley.
The 22-year-old was a regular for Northern Ireland’s U21s during much of their last qualifying campaign and has previously trained with Michael O'Neill's senior squad.
He took part in a week-long training camp in Manchester prior to the games against New Zealand and Azerbaijan in 2017
Mitchell was a regular starter for the Clarets' Under-23s in his time at Turf Moor and won the U23 Professional Development League's save-of-the-season award.

Mitchell spent the second half of the season on loan at Danske Bank Premiership champions Linfield but only made two appearances for the Blues due to the form of Gareth Deane.

Meanwhile, Republic of Ireland defender Stephen Ward is also departing Lancashire at the expiry of his contract.
Left-back Ward ends a successful five-year stay with the Clarets which saw the 33-year-old make 113 appearances for the club.
