Northern Ireland fans still waiting to discover Euro playoff ticket allocation

Northern Ireland supporters are still waiting to discover their ticket allocation for the Euro 2020 playoff clash with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Michael O'Neill's side take on the Bosnians in Zenica on Thursday, March 26.

The winners will take on either Slovakia or the Republic of Ireland five days later.

But with just over two months to the crunch game, the Green and White Army are in limbo over tickets.

Updating supporters on Wednesday, the Amalgamation of Official Northern Ireland Supporters Clubs said: "We've spoken to the IFA to ask for an update on the allocation of tickets for the Euro 2020 play-off semi final against Bosnia-Herzogovina.

"As we know, the match venue has been confirmed as Zenica and we know that the normal 5% rule applies to these games.

"Unfortunately the Bosnians have so far failed to confirm our ticket allocation to the IFA. Because of this it is impossible for the IFA to allocate tickets to fans.

"We can confirm that the fixture has been oversubscribed and loyalty points will be used to allocate tickets quite quickly once the Bosnians have confirmed.

"The IFA continue to pressure them for the information needed."

AONISC chairman Gary McAllister told Belfast Live Sport: "Until the Irish FA know the ticketing situation, they can't start allocating tickets to fans.

"The IFA continues to press the Bosnian football authorities for more information.

"I know some fans have already made travel arrangements for the game, but many have been waiting to find out if they can get a ticket first.

"The game is already over-subscribed, so hopefully we find out some information soon."
