Northern Ireland Executive to discuss Coronavirus recovery efforts this week

Ministers will meet this week to discuss the Executive ’s Pathway to Recovery efforts, Michelle O'Neill announced today.

The Deputy First Minister said discussions will include an update from the Department of Health on localised Covid-19 clusters.

She added these talks will also discuss if it is safe to move ahead to reopen pools and allow spectators to attend local sporting games across GAA, soccer and rugby.

Currently, no spectators are allowed to attend sporting events until there is a further ease in restrictions.

Sport was suspended in Northern Ireland in March.
