Northcoders has relocated its city centre campus to a 10,000 sq ft space at Bruntwood’s Manchester Technology Centre on Oxford Road.
The new campus for the north west coding bootcamp, which also has a site in Leeds, is home to more than 30 members of staff, with capacity to accommodate 100 students at one time.
The business was previously based at Federation House for two years.
Northcoders' new location, part of Manchester Science Park, sits within the city’s ‘innovation district’, in the Oxford Road Corridor and the Circle Square development.
Northcoders chief executive Chris Hill said: “There is no better location for people to launch their coding careers than the heart of Manchester’s Innovation District.
“The new Northcoders Campus at Manchester Technology Centre will support our growth over the coming years.
“We have developed a fantastic relationship with Bruntwood Sci-Tech.
“They understand our ways of working, share our values and know what tech companies need.”
The move comes alongside its appointment of Sam Caine, who joined Northcoders as a lecturer in 2017, to chief operating officer.
In his role, he will manage business operations and work closely with Chris Hill, chief partnerships officer Amul Batra and non-executive director Sandy Lindsay on growth and development plans.
Mr Hill said: “Sam is an integral part of Northcoders so his promotion is hugely deserved.
“He is incredibly talented and represents what we as a business are all about.
“Also being able to develop people from within is a key part of our vision and growth strategy.”
