North West makes her rap debut at Paris Fashion Week

North West looks set to follow in her famous father’s footsteps after making her rap debut with a surprise performance at Paris Fashion Week.

The six-year-old took to the stage during her father Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 8 show on Monday night.

Her lyrics - which she didn't trip on once - included the lines: "Look at my shoes, they're new and cool. See my school, I'm new, walk to the streets, yeah yeah yeah.

"Cool, cute, cool, yeah! What are those?"

Naturally, when word of her performance reached Twitter, fans were stunned by the youngster's performance.

One person wrote: "NORTH WEST LIVING LEGEND."

"There was a fashion show at a North West concert? what a generous queen," added another.

However, there has been controversy surrounding the performance after it was revealed that the creator of the song North remixed, four-year-old star red carpet Zaza, had not been credited.

Zaza’s mother posted on Instagram: “We take PRIDE in creativity, and believe whether a child’s involved or an adult... creativity deserves RESPECT/homage.

"PLS SHOW LOVE AND SUPPORT TO THE ORIGINAL FIRST!!! We admire Kanye West, and adore his journey. However, we don’t wanna feel like our daughter’s journey in the world of entertainment is being STIFLED ."

Kim then replied, with a post that was subsequently shared by Zaza's mother.

"We love you, North is a huge fan and records in the studio all the time and is inspired by ZaZa and loves Lay Lay too!" she wrote. "Todays performance of North's remix of ZaZa's song was something she asked to do at the last minute and a complete surprise.

"I didn't mean to not give credit where credit was due. Would love for the girls to meet soon." [sic]

This isn't the first time North has performed in front of a big crowd.

On numerous occasions, she has showcased her musical skills at her fathers’ Sunday Service ceremony in Los Angeles.

She's also no stranger to fashion week, having been on the FROW in her mother Kim's arms since she was a baby.
