A pub in North Wales has been forced to shut after a customer tested positive for coronavirus.
The Tafarn Y Rhos pub in the village of Rhostrehwfa on Anglesey has announced that it is temporarily shutting down after a drinker found they had Covid-19.
In a statement on Facebook, the pub said: "We are unfortunately having to close until further notice as one of our customers has tested positive for covid.
"Sorry but we have to ensure your safety as well as our staff."
When asked by our sister title North Wales Live about what was being done to deal with the situation, a pub spokesman said they were currently analysing government advice.
They said that when given instruction from officials, they would take further action.
The popular establishment opened its outside space on Monday after the Welsh Government allowed hospitality to partially reopen.
In a post on Facebook on Sunday, they said: "Well the day is nearly here!

"Lots of hard work gone on here in the last few months, let’s hope we all have a good time and catch up, will be strange keeping social distance but a least we are open.
"Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow."

The pub is just minutes from the town of Llangefni, which had to deal with a large-scale coronavirus outbreak at the 2 Sisters meat processing factory earlier in lockdown.
The Welsh Government said on Tuesday that that outbreak had been contained, and there was no evidence of a wider transmission within the local community.
