Police officers want to find Michael McNamara from North Tyneside , who is wanted in connection with an assault at the Village Hotel in Newcastle on November 30.
A search has been ongoing to find the 31-year-old and the public have now been asked to help.
Northumbria Police has asked members of the community who know the whereabouts of McNamara or who have recently seen him to come forward with information.
McNamara, or anyone who believes they have seen him, are asked to call 101 quoting reference number 152071C/19 or via the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
