A nurse has been charged with sexually abusing two of his patients at Glenbrook Hospital in the north suburbs.
David Giurgiu, 26, is charged with criminal sexual assault and criminal sexual abuse, Glenview police said in a statement.
Giurgiu, of Glencoe, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 2500 block of East Lake Avenue in Glenview, police said.
The charges come after two patients of Glenbrook Hospital, 2100 Pfingsten Ave., came forward to authorities, police said. Giurgiu was a nurse at the hospital.
Police said administration of Northshore Glenbrook Hospital cooperated with investigators.
Court information for Giurgui was not immediately available.
