North Staffordshire firm on the look out for new staff as part of plans for growth

An architects, surveyors and engineering firm is on the look out for a new employee as part of its plans to expand.

Stoke-on-Trent-based Affinity Design and Management is currently recruiting for a new role – for an architect, architectural technologist or a technician.

The multi-disciplinary practice offers architecture, quantity surveying and project management as well as mechanical, electrical and structural engineering services.

Now, due to a ‘substantial increase in project workload’, it is looking to add to its four-strong team.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge and understanding of principles, techniques and methods used in different types of construction as well as CDM and health and safety.

They will also have the ability to prepare detailed construction drawing packages for both residential, commercial, healthcare and education projects without supervision.

Chartered technologist Mark Palmer said: “Our workload is varied, covering the NHS, MOJ, commercial, residential, educational and industrial so experience across any or all of these sectors would be beneficial.”

Anyone interested in learning more about the role, or to apply, should email an up-to-date copy of their CV to mark.palmer@affinitydm.co.uk.
