North Staffordshire businessman opens third vape shop in memory of father

A businessman has opened a vape shop in Stoke-on-Trent in memory of his father who died after a battle with Alzheimer's.

Timothy Riches has launched VJ Vapours in Longton in tribute to his late father Paul.

It is the third venture of its kind for Timothy who has previously opened shops in Tunstall and Kidsgrove.

He said: "I wasn’t very academic at school but my dad always saw a spark in me when it comes to dealing with people.

"My dad was the role model in my life, I wouldn’t be where I was if it wasn’t for him.

"He taught me how to sell, how to speak to people, how to verbally appreciate everybody; it doesn’t matter what colour, race or gender, everybody has the same respect. I want him to feel proud even though he isn’t here."

He added: "I’ve put a lot of time, effort and money into this business. My dad always said to keep trying and eventually something good will come."
