North Lanarkshire Council to consider conversion of Wishaw Main Street shop into veterinary practice

North Lanarkshire Council has been asked to approve the conversion of a former shop in Wishaw Main Street into a veterinary practice.

A planning application for change of use of the premises, at 150 Main Street shows that the new owners of the unit had already started work on the conversion before learning that this planning approval would be required.

They immediately appointed an agent to pursue this.

The council has acknowledged the application in a letter stating the decision should be made by September 12.

At this point there have been no letters of objection or support for the application.

Neighbouring properties have also been notified and at time of writing no objections were published on the council’s website where the application can be found under the reference 22/00821/FUL.
