The weekend will have a fine but chilly start. The Met Office has forecast plenty of sunshine throughout Saturday with cloud developing from the late morning and into the afternoon.
A few showers are possible through the afternoon, but these will be well scattered, eventually dying out later. It will be breezy along the coast and the maximum temperature will be 9 °C.
Tonight it is forecast to be dry and cold. Cloud will hopefully break up giving some long clear spells.

Winds will continue to ease. By dawn, frost will be widespread. The minimum temperature will be -1 °C.
Meteorologist Steven Keates said: “The further south and east you are, the better chance of seeing predominantly dry conditions into the Easter weekend.

“Probably quite pleasant actually in the sunshine, with temperatures probably on the warmer side for the time of year. So you’re probably looking at mid to perhaps upper teens.
“Potentially looking quite promising in the south and east, a little bit more mixed for the north and west.”
