The North East is in for a cloudy couple of days with sunshine and showers in between as the February weather continues to be changeable.

The Met Office has forecast a fine and dry Wednesday, with some hazy sunshine to start off the day in the region before it turns increasingly cloudy later on. There are chances of light rain further North by the evening, with temperatures during the day reaching highs of 8°C.
