North East NHS Trust to host recruitment day in Morpeth, to show people their job and training opportunities

A North East NHS Trust is set to host a recruitment day in Morpeth, which will show people who attend their job and training opportunities.

The Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest providers of mental health and learning disability services in the UK. They offer a range of services which include psychiatric intensive care, autism services and recovery support for people with head injuries.

The event itself is taking place on the 12th May from 2pm-7pm, at Kiff Kaff, St George's Park Hospital. Anyone who would like to attend the event can register via this form, but it is also an option to drop in on the day.

Attendees will be given the opportunity to speak to staff about the vacancies within the Trust, some of which are Allied Health Professionals, nursing and support roles.

The Northumberland side of the Trust are also eager to recruit new people for their domestic, catering and estates teams. The recruitment and training teams will also be on hand to offer advice and answer any questions that people might have.

Associate director at CNTW, Kirsty Charlton has spoken about the event and what to expect from it.

“We’re really looking forward to hosting this recruitment event at St George’s Park.

“The event is a brilliant opportunity to find out what it’s like to work at our Trust and pick up some tips on how to apply, whether you have a specific role in mind or you’re just curious about the career opportunities we can offer.

“It’s a great time to join the Trust. We know that our staff are our most valuable asset so we invest in training and development opportunities and offer a great range of staff benefits and rewards.”

The Trust is rated as 'Outstanding' by the Quality Care Commission, and some of the benefits it offers staff are flexible working, free parking, onsite gym access and access to lease car and cycle to work schemes.

The Trust also encourage staff to have career aspirations, as they work with their line manager to develop a personal development plan. To find out more and to get advice on the application process, visit their online careers portal.
