Drivers in the North East can get £5 off at any petrol station this week.
Any driver who tops up their tank between now and midnight on 22 December will be eligible for a free £5 cashback offer if they keep hold of their receipt in what a deals website is calling an early Christmas present.
The deal is available to new members of deals website TopCashback.co.uk. The site gives shoppers money back when they sign up here and then shop online but the latest offer is available for anybody who keeps hold of their receipt.
New members can fill up at Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Asda, the Co-operative, Esso, BP, Texaco, Gulf, Jet, Murco and Shell, and will need to submit a picture of their receipt after buying the fuel.
Once they submit a picture Topcashback here says it will pay £5 into the driver's account within 30 days of uploading the receipt.
The deal will last for any top up until December 22 as long as the receipt is uploaded to Topcashback before midnight. You can find out more here.
How to claim your free £5 in petrol
The most important and first thing you need to do to get your free fuel is sign up as a new member of TopCashback here. Then:
- Spend a minimum of £10 on unleaded petrol, super unleaded petrol, or diesel at any UK petrol station - make sure to keep your receipt when you pay for the fuel.
- Take a photo of your receipt that clearly shows the date, the fuel station name and fuel payment. You don't need to take the photo immediately - do not use your phone while driving or on a forecourt. If you need to you can fold your receipt to make sure you can fit all the infortmation needed into the photo.
- Upload a photo of your receipt to TopCashback (either via the mobile site or desktop, not using the TopCashback app) before 22nd December 23.59
- £5 cashback will track in your TopCashback account within 7 days.
