North Dublin house raided as gardai continue crackdown on notorious crime gang

Gardai have raided a house in North Dublin as they continue their crack down on a notorious organised crime group known as the Gucci Gang.

The crime group is led by a well known young Finglas man known as Mr Flashy due to his interest in luxury clothes and watches.

Locals have reported a huge presence around Finglas as armed officers and helicopters have descended on the house.

Raotath Road where the house is based, as well as Cappagh Road, were on lockdown as gardai swarmed the area from around 7pm on Saturday evening.

The premises has been raided on numerous occasions over the past few weeks as gardai deploy tactics aimed at disrupting a gang.

A source said: "This part of a regular thing now. They’ve hit them every weekend for last few weeks."

So far no arrests or seizures have been reported.

The area is gripped in a gangland feud and is led by a gangster dubbed 'Mr Flashy' due to his interest in luxury clothes and bling - often sporting a man bag.

The group's leader is linked to the Kinahan Organised Crime Group and is involved in a violent feud of his own in the general Finglas area.
