South Belfast school children create touching makaton Valentine's Day video

Children at Glenveagh School have come together to spread the love on the lead up to Valentine's Day.

In a bid to showcase their unique talents, the students in class J3 gave their rendition of 'How Long Will I Love You' using makaton.

"A parent hearing the words 'I love you' is a magical moment but we wanted to create our own magic for those pupils that don't have a voice using makaton," their teacher told Belfast Live.

"We were planning for our assembly that falls on Valentine's day. Our pupils have so much love to give and we wanted to showcase their talents.

"If our video doesn't spread the meaning of true love, nothing will! Our pupils and parents are just blown away with our video.

"The pupils in J3 keep asking to watch it as they love seeing themselves on the big screen. So please, please share our video with all you love and care about to spread the love this Valentine's day. Happy Valentine's from J3 in Glenveagh!"

Glenveagh School for children with severe learning difficulties is situated in Harberton Park, South Belfast. Pupils generally attend Glenveagh at age eight and stay until they are 19.
