North Belfast police dealing with ongoing incident urge public to stay away

Police have urged the public to stay away from an area of North Belfast this afternoon as they deal with an ongoing incident.

Officers are currently in the Oldpark Road area of the city and say they are dealing with an incident 'involving a vulnerable male'.

In a short statement to the media, a PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are currently dealing with an incident involving a vulnerable male on the Oldpark Road in north Belfast.

"Members of the public are asked to stay away from the area while police work to resolve the situation."
