Meanwhile, police are also investigating a robbery that was also reported on Thursday night at a fast food outlet in South Belfast.

Police say it happened on the Ormeau Road, near the junction with Whitehall Gardens on Thursday, October 19.

A PSNI spokesperson added: "Once the till drawer was opened the man produced what appeared to be a screwdriver and demanded that the staff member put cash from the till into a plastic bag he was carrying.

"This was done and the man then left, walking citywards, along the Ormeau Road. The staff member was not injured during the incident but was left shaken as a result."
