The North Ayrshire Open Art exhibition is on at the Racquet Hall in Kilwinning’s Eglinton Park.

The exhibition preview got underway with a warm welcome from Open Art committee chairman Ron Smart.

Prizes went to a number of artists on the night.

Kelsey Todd won the Ayrshire College Prize for ‘Into the Blue’, Stephen McPheator won the Buckreddan Prize for ‘Autumn’s Here’, Colin Mackay won the Gallery Eight prize for ‘The Wave’ and Allison Davis won the Financial Services Scotland prize for ‘High Flying Birds’.

The North Ayrshire Open Art committee are an enthusiastic group of volunteers who organise this annual show.

This exhibition showcases the work of artists living and working in Ayrshire, Scotland and beyond.

It has attracted thousands of visitors since the first exhibition in 1996, with many returning each year.

The exhibition runs until Saturday, July 20, and it is open daily from 10am to 4pm. For more information visit www.northayrshireopenart.com.
