"We’ve had lovely bonding time, the three of us getting to know each other, but I can’t wait to show [our son] off a bit now."

Also, Sarah divulged how the costume gurus did a fabulous job on adapting her dresses while she was pregnant and filming Frank of Ireland.

Filming had been hit with delays because of the coronavirus pandemic which forced the stars to stop in March.

When they picked it back up again in September, Sarah was five months pregnant with her first child.

She added: "That last week [of filming] was a bit of a blur – I remember waddling off set at the end of one day and Domhnall going, ''Oh my God, you are SO pregnant…''.

"The costume girls did an amazing job of widening all the dresses because I was huge. I was just relieved we got to finish it, to be honest."

Sarah has kept her current relationship out of the limelight, without revealing her partner's name.
