Actor Paul Mescal may have won the people's hearts since his appearance in hit TV show Normal People but now he's being backed to win an Oscar.
The odds for the Maynooth heartthrob to make it big in Hollywood have gone from 33/1 to 10/1.
He was initially backed to win an Academy Award by 2025 at 33/1 but this morning saw a new burst of support for Mescal.
Love/Hate star Barry Keoghan is 7/2 from 12/1 to bag an Oscar by 2025.
Additionally punters are backing Saoirse Ronan to get fifth time lucky at 25/1 for her role in Ammonite after receiving a nomination for her brilliant performance in Greta Gerwig's Little Women during this year's award.
Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Saoirse Ronan was backed last month to win her first Oscar for her upcoming role in Ammonite with her odds nibbled into 25/1 from 33/1.
"The attention has now turned to Normal People star Paul Mescal who was originally trimmed into 14/1 from 33/1 to win an Academy Award by 2025, but is now just a 10/1 chance.”
