Normal People bosses insisted Pornhub took down a video of the sex scenes from the show.
The raunchiest scenes were cherry picked and edited into a 22-minute video for people to watch on Pornhub.
Pornhub pulled the plug on the video from the 12-part series following the notice from the TV bosses.
The sex scenes were plucked from the serialised love story of Marianne (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Connell (Paul Mescal) who come from different backgrounds but live in the same small town in Ireland.
Executive producer of the series Ed Guiney told the website: "We're hugely disappointed that excerpts from the series of Normal People have been used in this way.

"It's both a violation of copyright and more importantly, it's deeply disrespectful to the actors involved and to the wider creative team.
"We have taken appropriate steps to require that the content be removed from the platform with immediate effect."
Corey Price, VP, Pornhub said the company respect all copyright requests.
He said in a statement: "Pornhub is fully compliant with the law. We respect all copyright requests and as soon as we become aware of the existence of these types of videos on our site, we have them removed.
"We recommend fans check out Normal People via the appropriate content providers like Hulu and BBC.
"For all content removal requests related to copyright infringement, please contact copyright@pornhub.com or use the DMCA takedown request form.”

Normal People has built up a huge fan base after proving popular with the locked-down British nation amid the raging coronavirus pandemic.
Fans fell in love with the show for its honest and identifiable sex scenes.

Bosses were determined to portray consensual sex scenes as Connell asked Daisy “Is that Ok?” and “Does it hurt?” during the first time they get hot and heavy.
It comes after Paul opened up about filming the incredibly intimate scenes with his co-star Daisy for the show.

Intimacy coordinator Ita O'Brien was on hand to ease the leading actor and actress into feeling comfortable about the racy scenes.
Paul also dished how the show directors wanted the sex scenes to come across as "honest and truthful".
"There was a sense of security and safety that the nudity required on the show wasn't going to be used perversely or feel pornographic." He told Entertainment Weekly.
"It was always Lenny's intention for it to be honest and truthful. When you trust people of Lenny and Hettie's calibre, you trust what they want to do with the film."
