Normal looking semi-detached house with unexpected garden feature for sale

A seemingly normal looking home has been put on the market in Merseyside - but it's got an unusual addition in the back garden.

The four bedroom semi-detached property, is found in the corner of a cul de sac, on Oakwood Drive, Southport.

While it looks like an average house from the front, in the garden there is an impressive 'Arctic cabin.'

The property was put on the market in January this year with Entwistle Green for £275,000.

According to Rightmove’s sale information, properties in Southport had an overall average price of £226,844 over the last year.

Most sales over the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £203,618.

Whereas detached properties sold for an average of £359,363, with flats fetching £131,228.

Overall, sold prices in Southport over the last year were 4% up on the previous year and 10% up on the 2019 peak of £205,338.

Images taken inside the property show an entrance hall with toilet and utility room which opens out onto a living room and kitchen/diner.

Upstairs are four bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom, and a separate family bathroom with walk in shower, bath and double vanity unit.

The loft space has been cleared out and could be used as an additional bedroom or family area.

The Entwistle Green listing reads: “Nestled in the corner of a cul de sac, with off road parking for multiple cars and an outdoor Arctic Cabin with fire pit, ideal for year round entertaining.

“Well maintained and presented throughout. In addition, the owners have adapted the loft space for an additional bedroom.
