Nonverbal man, 69, missing from Hyde Park

Perry Griffith | Chicago police department

A 69-year-old man who police said cannot speak was reported missing from Hyde Park.

Perry Griffith was last seen about 5 p.m. July 26 in the area of 5700 South Maryland Avenue, Chicago police said in an alert.

Griffith is 5-foot-5, 160 pounds and has brown eyes and salt-and-pepper hair. Police don’t know what he was last seen wearing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area South detectives at 312-747-8274.
