None of the Conservative Party candidates standing for election in Liverpool live in the city, with some coming from more than 150 miles away.
Candidate lists for each constituency in the city have now been published, meaning voters have the first chance to see who they can elect on December 12.
But they reveal that only one of the Tory candidates for Liverpool's five seats lives in Merseyside, with the rest coming from the South and Midlands.
One candidate, Neva Novaky, is standing against Maria Eagle in Garston and Halewood but lives 170 miles away in the Surrey constituency of Runnymede and Weybridge.

Luciana Berger's former Wavertree constituency is being contested by Catherine Riordan Mulhern, who has an address in Jeremy Corbyn's Islington North constituency in London.
And shadow international development secretary Dan Carden will go up against a candidate from Shrewsbury and Atcham in the Midlands in the defence of his seat.
His office manager and now Labour West Derby candidate Ian Byrne, whose campaign has been hit by a series of historic and offensive social media posts, will be challenged by Conservative candidate Tom Bradley from the Cotswolds.
The only Conservative candidate standing in Liverpool who is from Merseyside is Sean Malkeson - his home is in Bootle .
Other candidates standing in the city all have addresses in Merseyside or Halton, with the vast majority having a Liverprool address.
The Conservative Party has been approached for comment.
