Shane Lowry, Stephen Cluxton and Katie Taylor head an illustrious list of 26 nominees for this year's RTE Sportsperson of the Year award.
The long-list announced, will be trimmed down to a final shortlist early next month ahead of the awards show on December 14th.
Undisputed world champion Taylor highlights the star-studded list, ahead of Open hero Lowry and five-in-a-row winning Dublin captain Cluxton.
Also nominated include cyclist Sam Bennett, Shamrock Rovers star Jack Byrne, runner Ciara Mageean and Irish international Denise O'Sullivan.
