Nominate your favourite LGBT+ event or venue for Bristol Loves

This year Bristol hosted its tenth Pride parade, and it was arguably the best yet. But it is not the only event in the city's calendar which celebrates the LGBT+ community.

This year as part of our Bristol Loves campaign, we want our readers to nominate their favourite LGBT+ clubs, bars and events, so that we give the very best destinations the attention they deserve.

A mix of traditional clubs and exciting new independent events means LGBT+ nightlife in Bristol is flourishing.

Bristol Pride founder Daryn Carter, who stepped down from organising the festival this year, said “It’s been an incredible ten years and we’ve rapidly grown into a Pride that’s consistently named as one of the biggest and best in the country.

“We’re proud to be a bit different here in Bristol.”

Up to 45,000 people attended Bristol Pride this year as part of the parade or free festival at Clifton Downs.

From the Old Market Gay Village to a selection of city centre LGBT+ friendly locations, there’s plenty for the community to celebrate.

If there’s a bar, venue or event you think deserves to be celebrated get in touch with us and nominate them for the Bristol Loves campaign.
