Is there a trustee at your charity who deserves a bit of recognition? Do they inspire everyone in the room during board meetings or go the extra mile for the organisation, its service users and supporters? If so, nominate them to be the Guardian Voluntary Sector Network’s Trustee of the Year 2015.

There are more than one million trustee positions in England and Wales, and without these individuals’ hard work and dedication, the charity sector and the vital services it offers would not exist.

Simply fill in the form below by 23:59 on Sunday 25 October 2015 and tell us why you believe your nominee deserves to be crowned Trustee of the Year 2015. A shortlist of five will be featured on the network and we will ask our readers to vote during Trustees’ Week (2-8 November). The overall winner will receive £200 in Love2Shop vouchers.

Nominations have now closed. The shortlist of five nominees will be published on Monday 2 November 2015, and readers will then vote for their winner. The winner will be announced on Monday 9 November 2015. For terms and conditions, click here.
