Nok's Kitchen opens new restaurant near Edinburgh Castle with amazing Thai delicacies

Popular Thai restaurant, Nok's Kitchen in Stockbridge, have opened a brand new second venue near Edinburgh Castle.

The Johnson Terrace restaurant is open for takeaway and delivery at present, with sit-in options on the way as restrictions for hospitality venues in the central belt ease next week.

The original Stockbridge brand was opened in 2016 by Nok and her team and has built up an impressive reputation based on their authentic and beautifully presented Thai dishes - they're even the number one Thai restaurant in Edinburgh on TripAdvisor.

The new branch - Nok's Kitchen on the Castle - is offering Edinburgh locals in the Old Town a taste of the chart-topping action, with a high volume of tourist trade expected as Scotland eases out of l ockdown in the future.

The menu includes delicious options such as hot and sour soup Tom Yum, a flavour-packed Panang Curry, a classic Green Curry, Pad Thai, steamed dumplings bursting with pork and prawn as well as our favourite, Mun Tod - deep fried pieces of sweet potato served with peanut sweet chilli sauce.

You can online for collection or take away via Nok's Kitchen on the Castle's website. The restaurant is open for sit-in bookings daily from 12 to 9pm at 5a Johnston Terrace from Monday 2 November.
