Nok Air CEO Patee Sarasin steps down

Patee Sarasin, who had served as Nok Air chief executive since the Thai flagged airline took off in 2004, stepped down from the job on Thursday.

The resignation was announced on Friday by Brian Leslie Jeffery, chief financial officer of the airline, who said the board of directors had acknowledged Mr Patee’s decision. 

His resignation took effect on Thursday, Sept 14.

He is succeeded by NokScoot CEO Piya Yodmani. 

Mr Jeffery said Mr Patee remains on the company’s board of directors.
