A proposed elevated expressway along Yamuna Pushta Road is set for a major change in alignment, with the corridor now planned to extend much closer to Noida International Airport.
The eight-lane road, being developed to provide an alternative to the busy Noida Expressway, will begin from Sector 94 near Okhla Barrage and extend to Sector 23C under the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). It will connect with the Faridabad-Jewar Greenfield Expressway.
According to TOI, the revised alignment was cleared during a recent meeting involving the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the three development authorities.
