Following the incident, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognisance of the fire and directed senior officials to reach the site immediately. The Chief Minister instructed authorities to expedite relief and rescue operations and ensure proper medical treatment for any injured persons.

According to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), Adityanath also directed the administration to remain vigilant at all levels and continuously monitor the relief operations.

Chief Fire Officer Pardeep Kumar said the blaze was contained to the affected flat and prevented from spreading to other parts of the building with the help of three fire teams and six fire engines. An ambulance and police personnel were also deployed at the site.

"The affected family had informed us of a fire in their AC. They had vacated the flat as soon as the fire broke out," Kumar said, adding that the prompt evacuation helped avert any casualties.
