GREATER NOIDA: A 35-year-old man has been detained for allegedly posting morphed photos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Facebook. The detainee, Farid Qureshi, is a resident of Mohalla Azad Nagar in Rabupura.
“On Saturday morning, a Twitter user raised a complaint on the micro-blogging site about a morphed photo of the Prime Minister on Facebook,” said Raj Kumar, SHO of Rabupura police station. Police detained the accused after taking cognizance of the tweet. “During questioning, he told us that he was unaware of the Facebook post. No FIR has been registered yet,” he said.
