Noel Gallagher stuns London commuters as Oasis star spotted on the Tube heading to rehearsal

Noel Gallagher left commuters in London totally speechless when he took the Tube to Oasis rehearsals.

The Britpop legend, who is worth a reported £25 million, was spotted sitting alone at Paddington station on Tuesday before getting a train on the District line.

The 58-year-old, who was wearing a black bomber jacket and black jeans, looked stoney-faced as he sat opposite fellow commuters in the carriage, in photos obtained by The Sun.

Noel was heading to his first full Oasis rehearsal for the hotly-anticipated ‘Live 25 reunion tour, which kicks off in Cardiff in July.

His younger brother Liam, 52, took a car to the studio instead of public transport and was seen holding cough syrup and Lockets, presumably in a bid to protect his vocal cords.

Liam revealed on Monday that he was joining the rest of Oasis - Noel, bassist Andy Bell, guitarists Gem Archer and Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, and drummer Joey Waronker - for rehearsals for the first time on Tuesday.

He shared the news on X when a fan asked: "Happy Sunday man! Are you ready for rehearsals? There are only a few days left and you're joining the others?”

Liam replied: "Yes Rasta D I’m in Tuesday to blow there minds [sic]."

Another follower asked whether the Wonderwall rocker was "excited" to reunite with his bandmates, to which Liam responded: "Can't wait."

The tour will mark the first time the siblings have played together since Oasis split in 2009 following a backstage row at the Rock en Seine festival in France.

Noel quit the group on August 28, 2009, saying he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer”.

They sent fans into a frenzy last August when they announced that they will be reuniting for a world tour in 2025.

The Gallagher brothers will play multiple stadiums around the UK, before going global with shows in Japan, Argentina, the United States and Brazil.

They have 41 dates booked in and will be joined onstage by acts such as The Verve’s Richard Ashcroft, Cast, Cage The Elephant and Ball Park Music.
