Noel Gallagher shares video of 11-year-old son 'in bits' over Lewis Capaldi song

Noel Gallagher has shared a video of his 11-year-old son 'sobbing' whilst singing a Lewis Capaldi song - but all may not be as it seems.

In the clip posted to the High Flying Bird's frontman's Twitter account, Donovan Gallagher can be heard singing part of Capaldi's hit song 'Someone You Loved' whilst crying.

He added to his 1.21 followers: ".@LewisCapaldi you big daftie. You might wanna try and find some joy in your tunes you're destroying the youth... my 11yr old is in bits."

But we can only assume it's a bit of a wind up after the former Oasis star 'slagged' the singer off in an interview.

Speaking to Radio X on Saturday, in typical Noel fashion, the 52-year-old called Capaldi an 'idiot'.

And the 22-year-old, who has become a favourite on social media thanks to his hilarious videos and photos, didn't seem to mind Noel's critique.

Taking to Instagram, the Scottish star said: "Camaaan! F****n' Caman! That’s me, I’ve peaked, slagged aff by Noel Gallagher. It’s me. What a day. What a f****n' day.

Lewis didn't seem too phased by the Oasis star's comments (Lewis Capaldi Instagram)

"Number 1 single? Who gives a f**k. Number 1 album? Who gives a f**k. I just got slagged off by Noel Gallagher. Dreams are coming true.

"It’s Father’s Day and I'm being slagged aff by a man who's old enough to be my da. And I’ve never been more happy. Happy Father's Day Noel."

Fans are now eagerly awaiting Capaldi's comeback and we have a feeling they won't be dissapointed.
