Noel Gallagher shares sweary story of how he was rude to Adele when she tried to meet him

Noel Gallagher has shamed himself by revealing he swore at Adele when she tried to introduce herself using their first meeting.

The 53-year-old former Oasis star dismissed the younger singer and threw some choice words in her direction – via an assistant – during a past encounter.

Noel shared his story during the Funny How? podcast which demonstrated the rude side of his personality.

While many would be delighted to have the chance to rub shoulders with 32-year-old Adele, it would seem Noel wanted absolutely nothing to do with her.

He explained: “I was out one night and someone tapped me on the shoulder and went, ‘Oh, Adele’s here, would you like to meet her?’

“I was like, ‘Get to f***’. What? Don’t send somebody over’.”

Matt Morgan, who hosts the Funny How? podcast, went on to share a story of another time Noel took no interest in meeting another mega star.

He revealed the Don't Look Back In Anger star turned down the chance to meet late Star Wars icon Carrie Fisher while on a night out in London.

Matt explained: “Some bloke came over and said, ‘Carrie Fisher would like to meet you Mr Gallagher’.

“You went, ‘Nah, you’re all right’.”

Noel has been sharing a number of eyebrow raising anecdotes of late – recently dissing his own past performances.

He said in an interview last month: “When I played guitar in Oasis I used to think I looked like Jimi Hendrix some nights.

“Then you see the footage and I was just shuffling around.”
