Noel Gallagher says Oasis musical is 'inevitable' on tenth anniversary of band's split

Noel Gallagher has revealed that he has been approached about an Oasis musical... and that a stage show is 'inevitable'.

It's been 10 years since THAT bust-up while the Burnage Boys were on their world tour.

To age you a little more, this week also marks 25 years since the release of Oasis' debut album Definitely Maybe. It catapulted them to worldwide fame.

Now, High Flying Birds frontman Noel has hinted that a musical documenting the lads' rise to fame isn't that crazy an idea.

Speaking to The Sun , Noel, 52, said: "The musical people have been on to me about that for the last ten years. And funnily enough, Live Forever is always the title."

He said he had spoken to an 'English guy who works on Broadway' who is in the know.

"And he was like saying, 'your journey from rags to riches'. And I was like, 'do you have to make it so Dickensian? I never wore any rags'. People do love that s**t, I know.

"It's inevitable it will happen one day. I will go and see it once."

Liam released the video for his new single One Of Us this week. It depicts his rocky relationship with sibling Noel.

The solo star filmed the new video in some familiar Greater Manchester locations, including Saddleworth Moor.

A decade on from Noel declaring he 'simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer', there's no sign of a reunion.
