It's not exactly rock n roll but Noel Gallagher's golf buggy is up for sale
It was owned and used by the Oasis founder and guitarist in the late 1990s and presented as a gift from his then wife Meg Matthews.
Meg had the paintwork commissioned to be in the psychedelic style of John Lennon's Rolls Royce.
Stickers adorn the cart, including passes from Knebworth and the number plate (JEDI 1) is a nod to the star's famous 'Star Wars' obsession. It has an estimated price of £5,000.
Four sets of handwritten Oasis lyrics: Headshrinker, The Masterplan, Stop Crying Your Heart Out and Wonderwall are in the same auction.
They are all in the hand of Noel Gallagher and believed to be either for use in the studio or on tour rehearsals. Collectively they are expected to sell for £3,000.
Also under the hammer is a piece of music history form 1984.
In that year a bitter miners' strike was tearing families and communities apart.
The UK was in the grip of mass unemployment and The Smiths were charming Britain's youth.
On June 10th the band played a storming set to tens of thousands at the first ever Jobs for Change Festival at Jubilee Gardens in London.
Organised by the Greater London Council it was to highlight what it was doing to fight unemployment under Margaret Thatcher's government.
Now a handwritten setlist for that Smiths performance is up for auction. It is signed by all four members of the band.
An original poster from the same concert and a privately recorded cassette tape with recording of a Smiths concert at The Electric Ballroom, London on 19th December 1983 is also on offer.
The vendor managed to blag his way backstage at the concert, later watching the performance from the side of the stage.
He obtained the set list following the end of the show and was able to ask the band to sign it. It is expected to sell for over £2,500.
Also for sale is a Mark E Smith used typewriter.
The portable 'Underwood Noiseless 77' typewriter in carry case, was used in the period circa 1984 - 1995 by the late Mark E Smith of The Fall, who lived in Prestwich and died last year.
The case is adorned with stickers and travel tags, one of which; the 'Lufthansa' tag, originally featured Mark's name and address. The typewriter has an estimated price of £1,500.
The auction will take place on Wednesday September 11th at Omega Auctions at the Sankey Valley Industrial Estate in Newton Le Willows.
