Noel Gallagher makes confession about Greggs addiction that saw him eat sausage rolls every day

Noel Gallagher has come clean about a huge Greggs addiction that saw him paying a visit to the famous Geordie bakers every day to feast on sausage rolls and other treats.

Greggs caused great excitement last month when its Newcastle drive-thru re-opened and since then a number of high street branches have also opened much to the delight of pastry devotees, with more to open their doors again very soon.

And don't be too surprised if you see Oasis megastar turned platinum-selling solo artist Noel in a branch near you if he falls off the baked goods wagon and indulges his past addiction for Greggs which saw him feast at his local branch on a daily basis.

He told Matt Morgan's 'Funny How?' podcast "In Greggs, when we were growing up, an iced doughnut? Why not! I used to love that.

"I used to eat in Greggs every f*****g day when I was in Manchester and I lived in the city centre - every day.

"I would get me dinner there. Yeah, f***** hell - every day."

A number of celebrities have received the VIP treatment from Greggs over the past few years, with Little Mix and Ed Sheeran both sent specially commissioned boxes of treats to their Newcastle gigs, Sam Fender revealing he had a Greggs VIP card and Stormzy being the first holder of the Greggs 'black card', handing him free pastries for life.
