Noel Gallagher dishes 'huge' Oasis reunion tour update and addresses Glastonbury rumours

Noel Gallagher has given fans a big update on the hotly-anticipated Oasis reunion tour.

Noel and Liam Gallagher’s Oasis Live ‘25 tour kicks off on July 4 in Cardiff and boasts 17 dates around the UK and Ireland.

The brothers will hit stadiums in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin before going global with shows in Japan, Argentina, the United States and Brazil.

Speaking to talkSPORT Breakfast with Jamie O’Hara and Jason Cundy on Friday, Noel shared an insight into the Britpop legends’ tour preparations.

“We finished rehearsing last Tuesday. We've got a few days off now and it's sounding huge, so we're all, ‘well this is it, there's no going back now’. It's good,” the rocker, 58, said.

Asked whether he’ll be at Glastonbury, he joked: “I might have a look at it on the iPlayer, yeah, but everyone was saying ‘are you coming?’”

Noel went on: “I was like, ‘I think it's probably best if I sit it out this year as I've got something going on next weekend.’”

He also shared his thoughts on Rod Stewart’s Legends slot on the Pyramid stage on Sunday.

“Big Rod, the cup of tea slot, two in the afternoon,” Noel said. “Good lad, he'd be good, him and Ronnie Wood.”

Liam and Noel famously feuded for years, with Oasis splitting in 2009 following a backstage row at the Rock en Seine festival in France.

They announced their reunion tour in August after years of their loyal followers pleading with them to get back together.

The Wonderwall rockers have 41 dates booked in total for their 2025 tour and will be joined onstage by acts such as The Verve’s Richard Ashcroft, Cast, Cage The Elephant and Ball Park Music.

Earlier this week, they revealed they could be releasing more tickets for the tour.

A statement on the official Oasis Instagram account read: “As the shows are getting closer, Oasis promoters may be able to release a very limited number of additional tickets for sale once final sight lines are checked and the production is fine tuned.

"These final production releases will happen over the coming days."

The post went on: "If you are an Oasismynet member, keep an eye on your inbox for an email from your regular Oasismynet or Ticketmaster correspondence address.

“Please double check this email is from the correct account before following links or sharing any purchase information."

While many fans shared their excitement at the news, others claimed they had “lost interest” in seeing Oasis after the chaos they endured when tickets were first released.

In September, standard tickets more than doubled from £148 to £355 on Ticketmaster, prompting the government to vow to look into the use of dynamic pricing.
