Noel Edmonds reveals why all clocks in his house are permanently set to 11:06

Noel Edmonds has revealed the sweet and romantic way he pays tribute to his wife every single day.

The 76-year-old television legend, born in Essex and now calling New Zealand home, has set every clock in his house to stop permanently at exactly 11.06.

This is no accident. It marks the exact moment that changed his life: when he and Liz Davies first met on 6 October 2006.

Edmonds, best known for shows like Deal or No Deal and Noel’s House Party, is set to return to screens with Noel Edmonds Kiwi Adventure on ITV1.

The series follows Edmonds’ life since relocating to New Zealand in 2018, where he and his other half have swapped studio lights for farm life.

“If you spot a clock stuck at 11.06 in our house, it’s not broken,” Edmonds explained in a preview for the new show. “That was when my earth angel walked into my life.”

Davies, 55, was a makeup artist on Deal or No Deal when they first crossed paths. Despite two previous marriages and vowing never to wed again, Edmonds felt an immediate connection.

“Before I even turned, I sensed her energy,” he recalled. “Seeing her was like a lifeline. She’s the energy that sustains me.”

They married three years later, in 2009, and Edmonds describes their bond as unbreakable. “You will never pull us apart,” he says. “Finding something like this is a gift, a gift from the cosmos. That’s why the clocks stay frozen at that time.”

Davies jokes, “Someone had to look after him. I’m just doing my bit for the community.”

Noel Edmonds has shot down comparisons to Jeremy Clarkson’s Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm (ITV)

Elsewhere, Edmonds recently addressed comparisons to Jeremy Clarkson’s hit Prime Video series.

While Kiwi Adventure shares a farming backdrop with Clarksons Farm, Edmonds stresses the difference.

“People asked if it’s like Clarkson’s show,” he told The Sun. “It couldn’t be more different. I’m not like Jeremy, though I wish I were.”

Where Clarkson’s series highlights farming challenges with humour, Edmonds’ show is more reflective, exploring the connection between people, nature and the cosmos.

Since moving to New Zealand, Edmonds and Davies have embraced a quieter, hands-on life. Noel Edmonds Kiwi Adventure offers viewers a candid and often surprising glimpse into this new chapter, all set against stunning Kiwi landscapes.
