Administrative sanction has been accorded to road works amounting to ₹5.3 crore in the Vattiyurkavu constituency, V.K .Prasanth, MLA, said in a press release.
An amount of ₹1.6 crore has been sanctioned for renovation of roads at Jawahar Nagar, while ₹1.5 crore has been sanction for bituminous macadam (BM) and bituminous concrete (BC) works in the Plamoodu-Thekkummoodu-Mulavana stretch.
Funds of ₹25 lakh each has been allocated for the Thamburanmukk-General Hospital Road and the MLA Hostel-Kunnukuzhi Road. An amount of ₹14 lakh has been sanctioned from the MLA’s local area development fund for the completion of the Pathirappally cultural centre. The Vyloppilly Samskrithi Bhavan road will be tarred at a cost of ₹19 lakh from the MLA fund.
