Noah Schnapp reveals when Millie Bobby Brown first asked him to be godfather to her child

Noah Schnapp has opened up about his friendship with Millie Bobby Brown

Noah Schnapp is "honoured" to be the godfather to Millie Bobby Brown's daughter.

The 21-year-old actor has revealed his Stranger Things co-star, also 21, decided when they were "little kids" that he would play an important role in the lives of her offspring, and she kept her promise after recently adopting a baby girl with husband Jake Bongiov.

Appearing on The View this week, Noah said: "Oh, it’s like, such an honour.

"It’s crazy because we’ve grown up together and we’d talk. When we were little kids, she was like, ‘When I have a kid, you’re definitely going to be the godfather to my kid.’

"Then we grew up, she had a kid, and like, now I am."

Noah joined the show when he was just 11 years old, and he admitted he will find it hard saying goodbye to his "family" on Stranger Things when the finale hits Netflix on New Years Day.

He said: "I'm gonna miss like, our family of Stranger Things. Not just the cast, though, the crew, and everyone at Netflix who's worked on it.

“It's all kind of just family. We've grown up with each other, and it's going to be hard to not have that."

The actor - who plays Will Byers on the sci-fi horror show - revealed he is "nervous to watch" the finale, but plans to do so with his castmates, which include Millie, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo and Sadie Sink.

He explained: "I’m nervous to watch it. Once you watch that, it’s done. That’s the last episode we’re ever gonna watch together.

"It's so emotional, like reading it, I can't even fathom what it's gonna be like to watch.”

He added that they will all "sit together as a group and watch it together one last time".

He said: "[We're] probably gonna be sobbing the rest of the day, the rest of the month, probably."
