Noah Donohoe: Volunteers thanked for 'selfless efforts' but asked to step back

Community volunteers helping in the search for missing teenager Noah Donohoe have this evening been asked to step back for now.

The 14-year-old has been missing since Sunday evening, and today hundreds searched the streets of North Belfast, where he was last sighted.

And in a statement issued in agreement with Noah's family, the public were thanked for their efforts.

It read: "Following conversations with the PSNI and Rescue Service we are respectfully asking Community Volunteers to step back unless otherwise instructed.

"This position has been fully endorsed by the family.

"On behalf of the family we want to thank you all for your selfless efforts in the search for Noah Donohoe. It has been a true reflection of our community spirit."

If you have any information contact police immediately on 101 quoting reference number 1619 of 21/06/20.
