"No wonder we f***ing hate each other" - full trailer for Liam Gallagher's As It Was film released

A brand new trailer for Liam Gallagher's documentary film As It Was has been released.

The two-minute trailer shows the younger Gallagher brother talking candidly about sibling Noel, rediscovering himself as a musician and eventually going on to find success post-Oasis.

The film will document the former Oasis frontman's journey after the band split up a decade ago, which producers have billed as the 'musical comeback of the decade'.

Clips from the trailer show him swearing at paparazzi, singing in pubs and being told off by his mum - but also spending time with his family and performing at One Love Manchester alongside the likes of Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Coldplay.

The film will also touch on his issues with ex-wife Nicole Appleton, who announced their split after allegations that Liam had had an affair.

Directed by Charlie Lightening and Gavin Fitzgerald, it promises to give viewers 'a no-holds barred look at the life of one of the most talked-about and charismatic artists of his generation'.

Liam speaks candidly about the highly public spat with his older brother in the film, describing the situation as 'pretty vicious and pretty nasty'.

He is seen saying: "The geezer split my band up. No wonder we f***ing hate each other." He also talks about struggling to find his identity without Noel's songwriting.

In the trailer, Liam says: "They've got all them press headlines waiting. 'He's definitely gonna blow his brains out.' I don't think it's gonna happen lads."

In later years he tells reporters: "I always thought I was god-like, from the day I was born."

The brothers' mum Peggy also features. She says: "I'm proud of him. He never changed, because he is who he is."

Peggy also says, optimistically: "It's a new year and they're all going to get on together," before the camera cuts to a clip of Liam swearing at a framed photograph of Noel on her wall. "Stop that," she scalds him in the clip.

Even rock and roll stars are prone to a telling-off from their mums.

Liam Gallagher: As It Was will premiere on Thursday June 6 at Alexandra Palace in London, followed by an exclusive live performance streamed into cinemas across the UK and Ireland.
