Reported Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Weston McKennie could sign for Premier League rivals Burnley before the end of the window.
According to Sky Sports News, Burnley have been offered the chance to sign the Juventus midfielder, but a deal is still unlikely, as per Kaveh Solhekol.
"Normally, we don’t see Burnley and Juventus doing transfer business between each other and I’ve been told it’s not likely that they will let McKennie go out on loan,” said Solhekol.
"But some of the representatives involved in this deal think it could happen. He’s been offered to quite a few Premier League clubs this summer - there was talk of Spurs being interested.
"But to be fair to Burnley, they’ve just signed someone from Lyon in Maxwel Cornet, who has Champions League experience, so why not?”
The news that McKennie is available has angered some Tottenham fans, who think he could be a good signing well within their budget.
