Following India's victory against New Zealand in the final, both Kohli and Rohit promptly dismissed the retirement rumours. Subsequently, Jadeja took to his Instagram story to clarify his position on the matter.

"No unnecessary rumours, thanks," Jadeja wrote in his Instagram stories.

The rumours intensified when Jadeja finished bowling his quota of ten overs during the Champions Trophy final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. When he completed his final over, Kohli embraced him, prompting many to speculate about his potential retirement from ODI cricket.

In the final, Jadeja delivered an exceptional all-round display. His bowling performance was particularly noteworthy, as he maintained tight control, giving away only 30 runs in his allocated ten overs while claiming the crucial wicket of Tom Latham.

His contributions weren't limited to bowling, as he later stepped up with the bat, scoring a quick nine runs from six deliveries, including the match-winning shots for India.

The victory celebration that followed was memorable. Jadeja performed the 'Gangnam style' dance alongside Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh.
